The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of all equipment and systems, as well as managing a team of maintenance technicians.
This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems - Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and address any maintenance issues promptly - Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory - Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary parts and materials - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols Experience with food and personnel safety Water and Food Plumbing:
Types of pipe, pressures, materials of various viscosity Mechanically inclined and problem solver Electronic Circuit schematic troubleshooting/ repair of component and circuits PLC troubleshooting using program logic (programming not required) Electronic creation and building small semi-automated circuits Experience with fabrication of food safe polymers and metals Experience with electrical motors problem solving and identification of premature failure Experience with electrical drive programming of parameters and drive external inputs Working knowledge of all types of electrical sensors set up and troubleshooting Ability to identify faulty components and order replacements using the component specifications to procure the correct replacement Keep and build inventory of spare parts of most common failed parts Successful management of equipment and preventative maintenance program documentation Schedueling personnel to complete tasks on weekends or off shift Strong organization and team building Great communicator and act as a mentor for less experienced technicians Place PO's through our ERP system Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred - Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including logic controllers and other automation technologies - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to fabricate or repair equipment as needed If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring the highest level of equipment performance, we encourage you to apply for this position.
