Manufacturing Engineer

Overview We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a machining environment. Internally the job requires contact with most levels of personnel of a wide variety of departments, including Operators, Production Control, Engineer, etc. Externally some vendor contacts are required, as well as technical contacts with associated plants and other corporate units. Travel is very limited. Responsibilities Creating CNC programs to deliver high margin bearings & parts for multiple business within Elliott Group (SVP, EP, IP) Primary technical interface for bearing's with external and internal customers (R&D, At Speed, EP, IP, etc.) Assisting with evaluating and determining all bearing repairs. Runs first pass processing of new items Critical to programming, setup and inspection tooling for Bearing department related parts. Provides the necessary technical input for testing, design. Interacts with machinists on a daily basis for technical support. Documenting detailed work instructions Qualifications This job requires a B.S. degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Bearing manufacturing experience a plus but not necessary. It also requires a minimum of 5 years' experience doing Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering in a machining environment and related work with proven performance to gain knowledge of the total scope of the job. Incumbent must be familiar with manufacturing processes, tooling, fixture design, must understand N/C methods and CAD/CAM principles. Exhibits analytical skills in defect prevention, root cause analysis, problem resolution. Good communication skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
